wizard101 has turned, slowly, from a simple story line game into a virtual world. This is a good thing. However it would be nice to have a lot more to do.
There are currently 2 side quest worlds - grizzlehiem and wysteria. I was thinking that it would be cool if:
1: Wysteria was expanded with various quests for different levels like grizzlehiem is. Maybe the different teachers could call you back as you hit the right level, and have you go to unexplored (as yet) parts of wysteria to do stuff.
2: All of the teachers in Ravenwood could have quests that they gave out only to their own students that took those students to those teacher's home worlds to do things. Again, they could be quests that happened as the character hit the right level. And because of this, they could continue calling you back for help even after you graduate and aren't their student any more.
As an example, we know that Greyrose comes from a candy world. Maybe when you hit level 20 she needs you to go to her home town there and get some supplies for a party she wants to have. And when you hit level 50 she has heard of a problem back home, needs you to go investigate it, and so on. But only ice school characters would get those quests. And perhaps instead of the world door being how you get to these places, there could be portals out of the teacher's class rooms. So that the only people that could just walk into one of those worlds would be the student of the school, though others could port there.
There's a precendent for that: you get to wintertusk from the grizzlehiem docks, not through the world door.
There could be unique housing items as rewards, maybe unique mounts or other things. Rewards for these don't have to be spells.
none of these have to be story line quests. The idea is to expand the world, make the game more of a virtual world not just an MMORPG, and add detail and richness to the entire picture.
