In pvp players fight in groups reaching up to four players, all fighting at the same time, but i have an idea to change it up. What if players could fight as a tag team? While one player is fighting, the other is on standby recovering health each turn. If the standby player wants to tag in, he clicks a tag in button and switches places at the start of the next turn. When you tag out any charms(positive and negitive) are transfered over to your character. While on standby you keep the same amount of pips that you started with the last time you tagged out. If the active player dies, the standby player is forcefully subbed in, without any of the charms that where on the active player. The last team remaining is the winner.
Some things I am unsure about:
1. Should minions remain on the field? 2. Should auras transfer? 3. Should there be a restriction on the number of times you switch out? 4. How much health should the standby character regain? 5. Can this work for teams with more than one active player, or standby player? 6. Am i forgeting anything important about game mechanics?
I would enjoy seeing input about this idea, anything you have to say will be gladly accepted. It would be amazing to see Tag Duels become a reality. Thank you for your time!
