I don't know if this would be workable from the software end with out a lot of problems but... At dungeons have a way to accommodate solo or more players. For example when a solo player goes to a sigil it would allow the choice of difficulty from 1 to 4. With the difficulty of 1 appropriate for 1 player. But allow the solo to play at a higher difficulty if they wanted up to max 4. If 2 players came up it would only allow a choice of 2,3,4. That way it would also be appropriate for 2 players. But also allow the 2 players to chose a harder level. Same way with 3 players. Four players no options 4 difficulty only. All players would have to agree on the settings unless max and once that is done if any sigils are left they would be greyed out before countdown began. This would keep someone jumping on after the choice was made.
KingsIsle would have to make three copies, each with different difficulty, of every single dungeon in the game. Would take a lot of time for not much. You can solo most dungeons in the game already if you can play well enough, so this feature isn't very needed at all in my opinion.
I'm primarily talking about the longer dungeons. Not the single bosses. It wouldn't be a total remake. Maybe only change on the battle parts would be something like instead of cheat casting every time make it every other time. Or a small adjustment to boss health etc. May only take a single change and copy and paste the rest. The set up on the sigils would probably be the hardest part of programming.
I have soloed the game so far and finished KHR2. But the time some of the dungeons take soloing makes it hard to set aside that time. A dungeon that takes a team 30 minutes normally will take a solo hours.
Just as a side note and yes it would be more work for KI programmers. What if they made it so a solo or smaller team had a little better drop rate if they chose the harder difficulty dungeon?

This would be a massive undertaking for KI and is completely unnecessary. I have soloed on several wizards. Although a "solo" game option (not just per individual dungeon) would be nice, it too isn't necessary.
Software logistics are decided by KI. They would be the ones who can best tell if it is feasible. I kind of doubt if they made KHR because it was easy. KHR was unnecessary, they did it to keep and bring in players. They know a game that is stagnate will not survive, So that question should be addressed by them. KI will be looking at it from view point of does this help us keep more people in the game, can it increase people who may play the game. What is the profit margin?
The software for the sigils would seem to me the hardest to design. But once designed could be used on all of the dungeons. The dungeons themselves some adjustments could just be removing 1 minion, a cheat spell frequency change, a spell removal, all according to what they think would best fit. All the backgrounds, foes, etc will be copied. Not redone.
As to being able to solo like I said I've beat Morganthe, hades (Several times) so yes I know you can make it through. That isn't the problem for me and a lot of people the time to do it is. Some people have the extra time on their hands. When you are doing battles solo, trying to stay alive and give damage it takes a lot longer then a group going in with a jade or two, blader, hitter. You have the duel boxer's or more. It would not be needed by them. Those people may not take advantage of it. But doing it would make the dungeons more solo player or two player friendly.
