It's no secret that darkmoor is a long hard dungeon...nothing new in the MMO world (Weather this game is an MMO or not is up to you). And with that comes the complaining. People frothing their ideas and complaints into one. Constructive criticism is great and highly appreciated in my book, but please refrain from blatantly blaming things on the "loss of magic" and instead focus on the facts/problems....and more importantly; how to fix them.
I have received everything I want or potentially need from Darkmoor, but seeing other people saying hurtful things or complaining about it makes me apprehensive: This is a game I and many others love...and I will do my best to bring fourth suggestions and ideas that I believe will benefit this game for the long run, and implement positive change. Getting to topic, people have been letting themselves be known by applying their criticism to the drop rate of the darkmoor dungeon. I have done it many a times, but managed to get what I want in the end. It is possible, although long and tedious at times. I suggest raising the drop rate of every item of potential value. Perhaps something like 5%? Nothing too big, but something that can appease the masses of those who are relatively unhappy with the drop rates of Darkmoor and it's respective properties. I recognize that the loot system needs to be structured in a way so that everyone gets a bite of the pie, but I believe that players who work hard should get bigger bites more often. I'm talking about the gear. Perhaps after a certain amount of times, a player has their chances of potentially getting a drop increased? It's just....at the end of battles in darkmoor, the dice roll, and you rely on percentages from a random number generator to obtain the loot you so desire. I think the percentage of certain drops should be increased one way or another, to more appease the casuals who work so hard. I think this is just one idea of many to improve the Darkmoor experience. Hope you enjoyed!
P.S: Will this solve all the dungeons problems? No. Will this appease or make everyone happy? No. It will not. But i think it's a great start for anyone who wants to try out the dungeon in hopes of getting gear. I just hope you guys agree with me too.
