So I decided to buy each zone with crowns without considering the membership because I thought, "hey, I'll have the game forever while with membership I'd have to keep paying year after year". I didn't realize that memberships had a bunch of bonuses (free pvp, faster regeneration of many things, bigger friends list and backpack, and maybe more bonuses I don't know about!).
Now my question is, why don't us crowns players get any benefits? We're paying the same amount of money as members if not more!
It's all a matter of how you look at things. Members have to renew to have access anywhere, to basically do anything in the game. This means they are tied to a subscription and must keep paying to keep playing. Crowns players have permanent access to all areas bought forever. Without extra benefits, many members would likely cancel in between new content releases. Crown players already have the benefit of permanent ownership and never having to pay again. As a member who has played every area, if I make a new wizard, I would need to purchase a membership again to play the areas. As a crowns player who has played every area, I could start over with new wizards forever and still always have access to the areas without spending another cent. It's all about choices and what works best for you.
So you are wondering why crowns don't get benefits? well think about it, Members pay by the month, while crowns don't pay anything once the areas you are in are purchased. Buying membership is like Buying a membership for xbone or ps4. You get to do all these things, while people who dont pay, get lesser things to do! Yeah it's not Great, and i think the only benefit crowns payers get is the areas, forever..... and ever....
