It has been asked many times, "what happened to Bartleby's missing eye after defeating Malistaire." King Artorius mentioned that at some point it may be resolved.
My suggestion is that when this quest (or event) is introduced in-game, that it accompanies a special collector's book in real life (sold at Gamestop or other retailer). Why? Bartleby's missing eye holds the key to the past. It would be a great in-game way to setup an illustrated "official" timeline of the Spiral's history, that up to this point, has been broken up in separate and numerous side quests.
For those of you that experienced the treasure map that Pirate101 creators gave to all registered Wizard101 members at the time, it would be something similar.
