1) If you can't go because you're stunned, passed, ran out of time, don't wait there on the character, just move along to the next one in line
2) When cheats or may-casts happen, instead of always going around clockwise, rotate the pointer in the fastest way to get to the next attacker. Instead of going from our ally #2, then going clockwise all the way to the ally in the #1 spot, just rotate counterclockwise and just go back.
These are simple ways to speed up gameplay without affecting anything other than time.
