You didn't cast anything with a sun enchantment, until you cast the spell you enchanted. Spells give 3XP pere pip used with 3xp minimum for 0-1 pip spells. Since it doesn't take a spell casting turn or any pips to use a sun enchantment, it gives you no extra XP.
