I mean I just got Wraith and it feels to me that I can one shot each enemy now, where as before I had to use one Vampire and one Ghoul to finish the enemy off. I read a topic that explained that Vampire does more damage per pip and decided to figure out how Wraith was worth using.
Lets say the enemy has 800 health.
Vampire = 350 Health Damage
On turn 4, with 0 power pips you could have
1x Deathblade +40% 1x Death Trap +30%
Total Damage = 637
Wraith = 500 health Damage
on turn 6, with 0 power pips, you can have
1x Deathblade +40% 1x Death Trap +30% 1x Curse +20%
Total Damage = 882
Vampire 637/4 = 159.25 per pip
Wraith 882/6 = 147 per pip
Clearly Vampire wins on raw power, but it still costs 6 pips to deal enough damage to kill a foe with 800 health, because you have to follow up with a Ghoul.
Most of the time though I find my self waiting until turn 6 or 7 so i have enough blades and traps on the enemy so Vampire will one shot it.
The bonus to using Wraith is that it kills the enemy in one spell. You may Fizzle more when using Vampire/Ghoul combo.
So while Wraith is weaker based on pip to damage ratio, Wraith gives you more consistency.

Thoughts anyone else?
your numbers are off! 500+40%=700! it will stack, so 700+30%=910+20%=1092. so thats really 182 per pip for wraith.
for vampire 350+40%=490+30%=637+20%=764.4 so thats 191.1 per pip. remember that boosts stack on top of each other!
