Why was this Deckathalon considered Ice?

We spent the whole time showing our expertise at casting fire spells.
We were rewarded with recipes for powerful fire treasure cards.
For that matter, fire students also got to show how well they could craft fire treasure cards. Fire students either made gold selling TC to the bazaar or they saved gold by crafting the TC they used in the event.
The "Ice" decks we used were made with fire runes and boosted fire damage. If you use the decks outside of the event a fire wizard benefits most.
Each school has its own tactics to combat ice creatures. This event didn't teach each student how they should fight ice creatures, it taught each student how a fire wizard should fight ice creatures.

I suppose the Ice school did hosted the event and provided the opponents.

I just wonder why this wasn't called the Fire Deckathalon with fire themed prizes, since we used so much fire in order to win. It's like calling an archery competition a target exhibit.
