Unacceptable Langauge/Behavior In Game

As many of you know, the amount of "Unacceptable Language/Behavior In Game" has gotten completely out of hand. There are already other topics addressing this problem and as yet we are seeing very little being done to help correct this issue. There are some of us that have admitted we as paying members are also at fault for not stopping in the Commons, or other areas of the game on our way to the Bazaar, regardless of realm and taking a look at the activity taking place.

To some of us it never crossed out minds that there are players that delight in making others feel extremely uncomfortable with the disgusting language and behavior they have chosen to inflict on an innocent child or even adults.

This abhorrent behavior is making the game extremely unsafe for our grand/children, nieces and nephews. I already have 2 young family members that their parents have disabled their accounts for this very reason. This game is rated as E10+. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.

In the past several weeks I have made many new friends in the game and some of those are even Teens. These friends are just as shocked and disgusted as I have become with this infection that is spreading throughout the Spiral. Some of these friends are also grandparents, parent, aunts and uncles. Many of them have also disabled the accounts of their young wizards. WE ARE PAYING MEMBERS and as such we should not have to turn off our chat or other options so the increasingly unruly behavior can continue.

We are always being told to "turn off our chat, just hit ignore, or use True Friend codes". This all well and good to some extent but does not solve the problem. We were giving the tools to report this kind of behavior, but it SHOULD NOT take a DOZEN OR MORE reports against a transgressor to get the sanctions in place.

The first report should be seriously looked at in many cases and based on the offense the appropriate sanction placed then and there. If first time offenders are sanctioned for a minimum of 1 month, it will make them stop and think before they repeat any transgressions. Each time a player went back and started the breaking the rules, it should then result in stricter sanctions against the account. Sanctioned accounts that are VIABLE should not be allowed to create ANY new or FREE2PLAY until it is proven they can be responsible enough NOT to commit these transgressions and to respect others that actually play this game the way it was intended.

There have been suggestions made as well in the Dorms on steps that can be taken to greatly reduce this problem and make it much easier to get back under control.

For any that are interested in the suggestions that have been made to KI, you can find them with the following links. I do ask that you read these very carefully in order to fully understand what is being suggested. These suggestions have been expanded upon through additional replies and the original post does not entirely reflect the extent to the steps that can be taken to ensure a HEALTHIER environment for our families.
