So, If I were to use a member benefit elixir Ex. double animus on top of a current active member benefit (double animus) would it make the animus multiplied by 4? This would be great if that were the case. Same thing with all other member benefits.

It won't stack like that. If you use a member benefit elixir while its active member benefit is live, the elixir timer will pause until the active member benefit ends.
