Locked Treads.

Is there a reason why Treads are closed/locked on the message boards?

And, can Locked Treads be re-opened?

threads that were inflammatory/off-topic/inappropriate got shut down by the mods, therefore they are closed to posting.

can they be reopened? probably, by mods.
should they? eh, doubtful.

In addition, they might be very old. There is a point with most every small thread in which it is shut down because nobody else is responding anymore.

This helps keep ancient (and outdated) threads from being brought to the top of our list.
