How do you transfer wizards?

So I had to start a new account cause my previous one didn't have open chat. But I have made it so far with my previous wizard that it would be a waste to just get rid of him. So does anyone know how to transfer a wizard to a different account?

Hello young wizard,

Yes we can transfer characters between two accounts if:
a) both accounts (the from & to) are linked in a Family of Accounts
b) both accounts pass our security checks
c) both accounts have a Membership for a 1 year term

If your situation meet these conditions, send an email to support@wizard101.com and let Mr Lincoln know the Source Account, the Destination Account, and the name of the character(s) to be transferred and he will look into the transfer for you.

Wait so I have to spend 120-160$ just to transfer wizards I wouldn't mind if both needed a membership of any length but both have to have 1 year In other words I might as well trash my previous account until its possible to make it free chat

Can you explain the security checks? Am wondering as I was thinking to do one year memberships on my accounts. Don't wanna do it if I won't pass for something along the lines of stacked gardens. thanks

Hello Valerian,

If you send an email to support@wizard101.com, they will be able to explain the security check process to you further.

So I have two accounts on my family membership (both are mine) so if I bought a 1 year for one of them would it be one year for the other cause I don't feel like spending 120-160$ on buying them both one year just to transfer wizards.
