What does it mean when a deck says "Max 6 copies"? What spells/cards are considered ?

The symbol means "universal," meaning you can't have more than 6 copies of any one spell inside that deck. In addition, it may clarify that you can out in more than 6 copies of a spell if they belong to a single school, but not every deck does so.

I thought this also, but the deck only allows 4 cards of any school, so I don't understand where the 6 comes in.

It seems to be a bug on KI's part. I've noticed that with some decks in Karamelle. Hopefully they can resolve this!
