I'm pretty sure it's 5 or 6~ I keep all of my accounts, plus my boyfriend's old account, together in the same family (I think there's 5 or 6 total) and it wouldn't let me add any more. So I emailed KI support, and they told me there is a limit but that those who need it lifted (bigger families, for example) can contact them to do so.
That was a while ago, so not sure it's still the case... but it's worth a try! Good luck! -veebz
