Exp for sun?

Hi do I get exp for placing a spell on another spell?
I know you get 3 exp points for other zero pip spells
But does this apply to sun also?
I could test it out and keep track of pips but I'm too lazy so I'm asking on here

I'm not sure I understand that question. But maybe this link about "exp" will help:

No because the spell isn't cast until the attack is cast and it adds no pips to the spell cost/XP and it's already getting more than the minimum 3XP.

Um you know how each spell gives you exp, right? No offense, but that link didn't help me at all...
but it's ok because someone answered my question
