Best spellwrighting path for spells?

So I finally have enough spellements to upgrade some of my spells, but I'm stuck on which path to take for reindeer knight. I think I'm leaning towards the top path with more damage at first and then less overtime, would that probably be best? Thank you!

I don't know what's top or bottom, but the increased DoT damage would probably be best! The shield breaking portion is already relatively high damage, let the damage sink occur after the initial shields are broken (blades are easier to come by for an ice wizards, so make no mention of traps here).

Just my two cents. You couldn't have chosen a better spell to upgrade!

hi;
i got reindeer lvl 1 recently and i took the upper part more dmg first then less dot.
in fact both way are good and present some advantage:

upper:
-better use of traps
-can eliminate weak enemies easier
-more vulnerable to shields
-less vulnerable to flat resist

lower:
-harder to shield against
-better if you have flat damage boost
- hard to trap effectively
-weakened by flat resist

try to find which one fit best to your playstyle.

I don't have reindeer knight but I would go for bigger single hit and less DoT.
