Are skeleton keys permanent?

I'm wondering... if I use a skeleton key to unlock a place, can I go there as much as I want or will I need another key to unlock it again?

Once used it's gone. You'll need a new key to enter that dungeon.

Skeleton Keys allow you to fight a boss ONCE. You will need another key if you wish to fight the boss again.
