There is no way this hasn't been discussed before but why doesn't KI just have a rotating duel system.

You go second, next turn you go first, repeating...?

It would be nice if there was a card that could be played that changes the order of play. If your team is going second and plays the card then the next turn they would go first. This means the second team could have back to back attacks (much like a stun), while the first team would not get such an extra turn cause they would already be going first.

say the person going 2nd uses a strong spell, leaving you open to die next turn if you do not heal. Now they are going first, you lose your chance unfairly and die.

that doesn't really matter when the current way in which PvP operates is to give all advantages imaginable to the side that is lucky enough to go first

That would not work either. All I could do on my sorc is just wait until you have no tower on yourself when you go first. Then, going second, I could immediately feint you and judge next turn with no chance of giving you a chance to block the brunt of it.

You'd be better off just having each turn be decided by a coin flip on who goes first. By taking the predictability out of the equation, you open yourself up to people needing to plan accordingly instead of just knowing when the opening is. It also opens the path a little bit for luck to play a factor.

It would be a boost for all these little pleebs who can't PvP their way out of a wet paper sack, and make them feel just a notch better about themselves before getting hacked to shreds by far superior opponents.
