My son has joined two tournaments recently and both have failed to start, even though he was logged in and at the location supposed to be for it. He has lost his crowns that he paid for them. Is there something that he needs to do when the tournament is starting to make sure that he actually gets in it?

The only reason I can see is that there wasn't enough people about the same level to start one or he joined a team tournament alone and there wasn't enough people to make a full team. When this happens, KI should give you a free tournament of your choice. They have done it for me.
