PVP Tournament Question

I have a level 11 balance, rank 1022, and I want to try tournaments, but I don't know if I lose rank for it or not, so someone please answer if you lose rank or not in a tournament, if you lose, I mean.

Tournaments do not effect pvp rating, just tournament rating, and your tournament rating can only go up.

No worries, your PvP rank does not get adjusted for tourneys. You have a separate rank for tourneys. You get 4 battles and win as many as you can to get tickets/rewards/trophies.
