Hello i am a level 48 wizard. When i was battling the level 12 gut i was lvl 42. I don't know how he won, but I think it was his armor. He resisted my attacks like crazy. They barley did any damage. Then, his pet used a ice dino attack, he got a critical hit, and it did about 2,600 damage. How did he get a critical hit?

Either the pet or one piece of gear (at least) had critical boost to it. totally possible and legal. I have a pair of boots that gives a critical boost - level 10+.
