Fleeing PvP matches

When a player flees a pvp match, their opponent registers a win in their record.

It would be more accurate to register 1/2 of a win.

Obviously the player who fled lost, but it is not really true that the other player won. It is more like a forfeit.

This should not contribute the same to your record as an outright win.

An example of this is in Tourney, when the match ends and neither player is defeated, Diego makes a call as to which one is the winner.

But that person does not get 100 tourney points, as they would if they had won, then only get 90.

Frankly, my real opinion is they shouldn't get any kind of a victory. The one who fled should take a loss, but the other one did not get a real win at all.

Some people flee when you have cast the kill spell but before it actually kills. Can't penalise the attacker for this. Penalise the person who flees. Currently they miss a few arena tickets and can't join PvP for 5 minutes, which isn't much disincentive. If you start reducing benefit to winner, more losers will flee to spite them. Besides, if someone flees in tournament you do still get 100 points - it is only 90 for a bye.
