Do I have to spam Loremaster to win?

It is such a handy spell and have been advised to "spam" it to win.

But that is so boring.

so take it as ice spam with frostbite and wand hits, or cards with less then 4 pips to hit to win, and hope they get a bubble to hit with shadow cards,
