Well it depends what kind of pet you have. If you have a rare pet there is a high chance of it healing. Tip: try training it in Will to make it get a (May cast spell). Once again don't forget not all pets have the ability to heal.

All 3 of the pets cost crowns. You can just hatch with someone that has the ability though.
