True or False? No Epic talent at Mega

Hi Guys

haven't posted here a while.. hoping you all are well and enjoying the game.

Recently, I have heard people saying that the older a pet gets (... ancient, epic, mega), the less likely the pet will learn ultra-rare or epic talents.

Most ultra-rare and epic talents, if they were to manifest, would show up at younger stages.

Is this true? Please help clear it up for me.

False.

Talents are preset at hatch and when they manifest is random.

Actually I wish this myth was true, then I wouldn't get pierce train, cloud of bugs, or some spell card at mega like I often do.

False in my experence. It seems that is the only time I have finally gotten what I'd hoped for in a pet is when I make it Mega

I'm glad to know this is likely untrue :) and tnx everyone for the answers.

As I'm still in the process of learning about pet mixing, honestly I expect to come across more of these 'myths' and hope I won't be misled by them (much) LOL

In my experience,False.

Most of my pets got good talents at Ancient,mega,epic,but rarely at adult and teen. The only time I got a pet to cast something for me,and I got the ability on teen was my starfish.
