Something is WRONG with my Storm Snowman Pet!

I haven't recieved ANY dropped pets since I've started playing Wizard 101. So, for weeks I have been farming the Sea Lord in DS and when I finally received Storm Snowman pet, it came as a baby without a card. Is this normal? Isn't it supposed to come with 1 card at ancient or baby? I'm extremely confused and disappointed. Someone please reply back with a reasonable explanation.

While some drop pets do come with a card at baby, most dropped pets won't have a card until they are adult, ancient or epic.
