I just recently hatched a pet and I'm not sure if I actually got the pet I wanted...I hatched my orthrus with a stormzilla and i was wondering if the name of the egg means that i still got the same lame orthrus or did i get a new pet or is it just random name and the egg name has nothing to do with which hybrid i would get?
You can tell if you got a Hybrid by the hatch time. If it's 20+ hours, it's a Hybrid. Less than 20 is an L48 pet.
Name of the egg usually helps determine the school of the pet.
Rare pets are less likely to Hatch, so you should be expecting to receive the same pet type with a mix of traits from both parents more often than a Hybrid.
