When you look at the pet in the "Pets" section, or scroll over it in your backpack, it does not show the card it gives until it's the appropriate level.
However, you can equip a pet, and then scroll over a player wearing a pet. Then, it will show what they're wearing, as well as what pet you're wearing. It will show what card it gives and what level it has to be. Hope this helps!
