Let's face it, he does nothing. The only person in the pet pavilion that does nothing. Sense in the pet shop there are all these diff pet houses, why not let him sell those? They could increase hatching rate of pets, or how much ur pet likes you which could increase how often it uses a spell in battle (if it has the talent to). Or maybe if you leave it there it slowly gains xp. Maybe 1-3k for worst and 10k for best
