I have the perfect pet for A life wizard. It is an ancient Yuletide spirit, that may cast unicorn very often, may cast -80% life shield, and gives +4% hit points to life spells. It's pedigree is 62. Derby stats are no passing, rally, and stop leader. It also gives the seraph card.

Lord Nightshade drops Yuletide Spirit but only during the Christmas season. Hatching with one is your only option until then, which is also when they bring back the Yuletide Packs and the Feliz guy who will sell them in the Shopping District.
