How do I age up my pet without racing?

I want to age my pet, but I have never done a race before and dont know how to race. Can I somehow do a practice race alone? Without anyone? So I can learn to do races before doing them against other people.

And are there races for specific talents, like strength or agility? Just wondering.

To age up your pet, you have to play the pet minigames, as they give your pet XP. Feeding them food also helps.

Sometimes you can do a practice race alone, if after a certain amount of time, no one joins your race.

Hope I helpd.

as far as I know, racing does not age your pet, doing the minigames gains you experience for aging your pet.
