so a friend and i decided to hatch a pet and we did. will our pets manifest the same talents even if they do not happen at the same levels?

Yes, this can happen. Manifested talents are not guaranteed for a particular level (teen, adult, etc). I have many pets who have the exact same talents, but got them at different levels.
