Gotta question.
After having a pet have all the stat lines full but still needing points to go epic, does it matter what type of food to feed it to reach epic? Will giving it a number 9 food of another school affect the last type of thing it will cast? Or just feed it any ole thing to get that number up do the job. Thanks

It is widely believed that pet talents are predetermined and nothing about training them will affect the talents that the pet receives.

If you use snacks that are from the same school as the pet then you recieve a small +1 bonus to power.
Pets also have (a few) favorite snacks and when you feed them their favorite snack you also receive a bonus of +1 or +2.

You can feed any snack to a pet without any negative side effects.
