All number boost talents go up based on pets stats. Most physical talents are based off Strength, Agility and Power. If those stats go up in training, then the boost would go up too.
yes, as long as you train him in the specific stats that add to critical.once you max out these stats the critical will not increase further. i'm not sure exactly which two stats go with critical but i know that the "power" stat helps all talents, so you can train in that.
