Can my pet have fairy friend trait AND fairy friend jade jewel?

If my pet has the fairy friend trait, my I add the fairy friend jade jewel to double the may cast chances Thank you for your help!

Yes, technically you could, but it wouldn't really make sense to because its just a waste. It may take up the chances of fairy friend casting but its kind of useless.

No.

If you put in a jewel that gives a talent to a pet that already has the talent, it is as if you never added the jewel.

For example, if you add a spell-proof jewel to a pet that already has the spell-proof talent, you don't get a pet that is double spell-proof.
