They really need to do something about the cave of solitude. It is very complicated to navigate through them as there is no sidewalk to be safe at. I am tired of repeadtedly logging off and back on until I am finally not in a fight cause I don't want to flee and lose all my mana and I don't want to fight something I don't even need!
The center area is all about timing and patience. You have to wait until the enemies are on the other side of the area, then match their movements so that they stay opposite of you, until you reach the next bridge or safe area.
One thing that will help is to use the teleporter stones. That way, you only have to navigate the center area once for each exit.
