A solution to "going first"

Okay, I've been thinking about a solution to the going first advantage in PVP.

First of all, everyone gets into the arena, like normal.
Then, a randomly picked person from each team gets to choose Rock, Paper, or Scissors. It would show a picture in a little square of the hand sign in a rectangle.

The winner gets to go first, and the loser second.

I think this way is a very good idea to solve the randomly going first issue. It's a matter of choice, and instead of getting mad at the game you can get mad at losing a simple game.

Post your feedback in the comments!

Hi,
The problem with that idea is that is that rock, paper, scissors is still a game of chance.
So just because you picked 'rock' doesn't mean you will have a better chance of going first.
It's still left up to chance. Just as the current system is. It's random.

You could play rock, paper, scissors all day long and still never go first.
I'd rather leave it up to the computer to decide.

Sry if it sounds like I'm bashing your idea. Not trying to be rude.
Yes people may feel like they have more control over their position, but ultimately its still a chance.

PS.

To all the people that like to dance during the 10 second timer.
LOL
You guys know that doesnt do a thing right?...
