We have multiple fishing quests, and each one gives us a reward of experience, but why doesn’t it give us FISHING experience as a reward? In our fishing quests, our job is to actually catch fish. Sure, we get XP for catching the fish, but how come we don’t get fishing XP as the reward? 1,845 XP for character level XP doesn’t do a whole lot of good for character levels, but for fishing levels, it could go a long way to help the unbalanced nature of fishing XP (which KI admitted they will be working on in the future)
125XP A River Runs Through It 375XP Fishful Thinking 125 XP Ol’ Fishing Buddy 60 XP Turn up The Heat 420XP Among Us Stalk the Sentinels 15XP Catch 'Em If You Can 300XP Not if I Catch ‘em First 100XP Fish, Glorious Fish! 325XP Cast of a Champion ------------------------------------------------------ 1,845 Total XP from fishing tasks
All of this should be FISHING experience and not GENERAL experience. These are skill specific quests and should give us skill specific experience in my eyes. When we do crafting quests, we get crafting XP as our reward by obtaining a new crafting level, so why not do the same in fishing?
