I'm kind of embarrassed to ask, but what are Pedigree scores for??

Hoping you are well,

Pedigree scores show the level of talents on a certain pet. They are just used to identify how many rare or epic talents a pet has. A high pedigree means a lot of rare or epic talents.

Example:

36(12)

The higher number on the left indicates the rarity of talents on a certain pet. It is the pedigree score of the pet.

You know how uncommon talents have 2 dots next to them and epic talents have 4. The pedigree is counting the amount of those. The higher the number the more rare or epic talents it probably has.

The number on the right in the brackets indicates the amount of pedigree it has manifested so far.

As you unlock new talents on a pet by leveling it up, that number will increase. It will never be the same or higher than the pedigree score as a pet can only manifest 5 talents up to Mega/Ultra.

Hope to see you all in the Spiral!

It doesn't tell you anything about how useful or good the pet is to you, but will affect hatching cost.
