Rethinking Hades' Gear

Currently, Hades gear is in an odd position. The gear is designed to be better and worse than Waterworks in certain stats as part of its balance but with the release of Malistaire/one-shot gear, which provide direct upgrades to Waterworks, it became nearly obsolete. Tartarus runs tend to be considerably rarer than Graveyard runs as a result, since both are of a similar difficulty and require similar amounts of time to complete. In this post, I want to propose a solution to make Hades gear a viable option for the amount of effort put into a full Tartarus run.
As it is now, Hades gear was made to be more specialized than Waterworks, but is outclassed in most of its niches by the more versatile Malistaire/one-shot gear, which lacks the drawbacks of Hades gear, just 10 levels later. The solution, seems to be to make the gear stronger in its roles than Malistaire/one-shot gear, but weaker in other areas. Hades offence gear will have higher damage, pierce, and critical than Malistaire/one-shot gear, but lower resistance, block, and health. Hades defence will have better resistance, block, health, and incoming heal, but lower damage, critical, and pierce. By doing this, Hades' gear becomes a viable lower level alternative to Malistaire Gear for specific roles.

As an example:

Current Hades' Offence Storm Gear:
+630 Health
+21% Power Pip Chance
+25% Pierce
+3% Resist
+14% Outgoing
+12% Accuracy
+282 Critical Rating
+57% Damage
Gives Lava Lord item card

Current Hades' Defence Storm Gear:
+509 Health
+21% Power Pip Chance
+10% Pierce
+84 Critical Block
+26% Resist
+15% Incoming
+5% Accuracy
+262 Critical Rating
+57% Damage

Current Hades' Staff of Tempests:
+5% Pierce
+45 Critical Rating
+92 Critical Rating
Gives 4 Ultra Jolt cards

Malistaire Storm Gear:
+1065 Health
+27% Power Pip Chance
+13% Pierce
+105 Critical Block
+31% Resist
+5% Accuracy
+25% Accuracy
+293 Critical Rating
+73% Damage
+5% Shadow Pip Chance

Staff of the Dragon's Maw:
+13% Pierce
+100 Critical Rating
+95 Critical Block

Now here are some proposed example stats for revamped Hades' Gear:

New Hades' Offence Storm Gear:
+730 Health
+21% Power Pip Chance
+30% Pierce
+21% Resist
+45 Critical Block
+25% Accuracy
+350 Critical Rating
+80% Damage

New Hades' Defence Storm Gear:
+1250 Health
+24% Power Pip Chance
+8% Pierce
+130 Critical Block
+34% Resist
+25% Accuracy
+240 Critical Rating
+65% Damage

New Hades' Offence Wand:
+10% Pierce
+140 Critical Rating
+60 Block Rating

New Hades' Defence Wand:
+6% Pierce
+50 Critical Rating
+200 Block Rating

With these stats as an example, I feel it still keeps Malistaire/one-shot gear as the best all-around, with Hades gear as a viable-enough alternative. Let me know what you think, there's always room for improvement!

Hades is 11x easier than malistaire though and way shorter so I don't see this as a good idea personally. The wand also is way too op, 200 block, duelist's fatal razor and ring, rasputin deck and amulet and malistaire gear, you can get 100% block easily. Along with that, you could wear the storm hades offensive robe and make up for the pierce and damage that you lost with the staff. In summary if this were to be added, pvp wouldn't have critical as a factor (you decide if thats a good thing or not), Malistaire gear would be nearly useless because the hades offensive gear would give a lot more critical so it wouldn't be used often in pve and in pvp, critical wouldn't be a factor anymore so you could go with the full Hades defense set mixed in with the Offensive robe.

Hmm, you do have the point that Hades is supposed to be somewhat weaker than Malistaire, being 10 levels lower. However, I believe the dungeon is still difficult enough to warrant better equipment, at least an upgrade from Waterworks in most stats.

As for the defence wand, obtaining full critical immunity would end up sacrificing in other stats, as does theoretically obtaining 100% critical rate. You'd have to specialize specifically in gear that goes for the stat. If the block on the wand alone is that much an issue, perhaps 160 block would be a better amount. Another thing that could be done is instead of very high block, the Hades defence wand idea could provide a small amount of universal resistance, say 5 to 10 percent. Since the Defence wand idea was intended for PvE, the pierce on it could also just be removed entirely, instead of the above changes.

In the case of having more critical than Malistaire gear, the offence set could be adjusted instead to provide a total of 325 Critical Rating, or possibly have its defensive stats (20% resistance, 45 critical block) removed entirely, to keep its advantages over Malistaire gear while staying balanced as a specialized set of gear.

Anyway, your feedback is appreciated, I look forward to more criticism regarding a revamp of Hades' gear. You brung up some interesting points.
