How do I get a danger hound?

I've seen people with them but how do i get one I've also heard that if you breed two danger hounds you get a ghost hound is this true

Players can no longer obtain the Danger Hound. It was only available through a special promotion with our good friends at Wizard101 Central. The Danger Hound is retired and cannot be obtained through hatching or any other method.
