I am not sure if this is something that is a wider glitch problem or maybe I just missed something, but the Celestia world did not open to me upon reaching level 50. I went to talk to Merle, and he only roughly says "Come see me at once....about Celestia!" even when I am in the room with him. Any suggestions or thoughts on how to fix this?

You have to finish the quest, "Final Countdown" and be level 48.

To get the quest for Celestia, you must be at least Level 48, AND you must have completed the quest in Dragonspyre -- "The Final Countdown" to beat Malistaire.
Have you done that quest? If yes, then you should send an e-mail to Support@Wizard101.com and explain the problem to them.
