Okay I read the whole valor sword for the veteran day promotion. I have a question, is it for families who have family who is a veteran CURRENTLY or can it be a while ago. My father was a marine * He was a sergeant * for 8 years and now is a school police, * sergeant again *. Since he WAS in the military would that still count?
