How do I abandon a quest that is bugged?

"Get some Bling" I am unable to pick up gems in the Hall. I just hover over them with no option to pick them up or interact.

I would assume abandoning the quest and picking the quest back up might solve it.

How does one abandon a quest?

You cannot abandon a Quest, young Wizard, you must complete it.
If you think that the quest is bugged for you, please contact Mr Lincoln through email at support@wizard101.com and he will look into why the quest is not advancing for you.
