Can't complete quests in dungeons?

I'm trying to do the "Tome of the Fang" quest, which is located in the Vault of Ice in Krokotopia, but when I enter, it forces me to redo the dungeon quests (even though I've already done it.) So I can't complete my original quest. Help please?
