Considering that it does not seem to re-seed, one has to wonder. Plants that cost crowns typically drop their own seed at elder, except for the charity event trees.
The reason for the this plant not re-seeding most likely has something to do with the fact that it drops Storm Hound treasure cards that do 150 damage per Pip instead of the normal 130 for the item card version. It's the same with the White Tiger Lily, which dropped Ice Hound TCs and didn't re-seed either.

Seems this is another Moon Flower type seed (non-charity). Crowns seeds that don't reseed.
