Weird Damage Icon

Whenever I open my spellbook to check my damage, instead it saying a number it has a * icon under it, this really bothers my, does anyone know what it is or means?

this just means that you dont have that much damage its under 10 or at just 10 what level are you?
my has this because only has 10 damage

It means you have a gear item that gives a fixed amount of damage rather than %.

it seems to only happen when the wizard has exactly 10 damage boost cause thats what happens on my balance wizard with 10 damage at lvl 12 but with all my other wizards like my fire or my myth it shows the 95 and 68%s that its supposed to
