So i had a full set a waterworks, then i stitch it to something a little better in my opinion. So now its has the states of the thing i think is better.
Now when i try re-coloring it, all it says is "Your transaction was not successful"
I dont know whats going on here, why cant i re-color these 3 items

First of all, what did you stitch it with?

A lot of Crowns gear can't be dyed... Meaning that, if you stitched your Waterworks gear into the World's Fool Robe (from the Hydra pack), you can't colour it.

Hope this helps ;)
